| REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY 2018 LWS P2 YOU CONNECT It’s so exciting to share some of the successes of Leadership Winston-Salem in the past year with you. Due to increased demand, we added spaces for eight additional participants in the Flagship Program and had the largest INSIGHT class yet! After 34 years, leaders continue to view LWS as a vital experience in their community development. The more than 2,000 alumni of LWS can be found in service across the community on boards of non-profits and volunteering their time to create a better Winston-Salem.This would not be possible without your critical financial support. “...alumni remain dedicated to the mission of LWS to Educate, Connect and Energize leaders by sharing their time and treasure.” In addition, many alumni return to serve LWS as board members, program chairs, committee members and donors. As graduates of the Flagship and INSIGHT programs, it is a testament to the impact of the experience that alumni remain dedicated to the mission of LWS to Educate, Connect and Energize leaders by sharing their time and treasure. Much of the credit goes to the strong staff that keeps the organization moving and offers so many opportunities for alumni to be part of the LWS mission. Leadership Winston-Salem is committed to continuously engaging LWS alumni so they remain current in their knowledge about the community, as well as keeping strong the ties that bind every graduate to the organization and each other. Our strength is built on the connections and relationships that have grown. We thank you for your passion for Leadership Winston-Salem!
