Help Feed Hungry Kids with H.O.P.E.
With the help of volunteers like you, H.O.P.E. (Help Our People Eat) assembles over 1,000 meals for children and packs hundreds of bags of fresh produce for adults every Saturday morning. Join with other LWS alumni to make a difference in addressing food insecurity in our community. Volunteers will receive instructions from H.O.P.E.’s Operations Manager to pack produce items into bags and stage them on racks for distribution the following day, and then assemble nutritious meals and stage these in coolers for next-day distribution. The facility for this service project is located at 505 Deacon Blvd.
